Can eletronic door nobs be installed where you have water from the rain??

The keys are illuminated for easy and quick operation day or night and a low battery indicator lets you know when it's necessary to switch the battery.

The Emtek E4827 is recommended to be installed minimum 5.5" on center.
Both the Emtek E4817 and E4827 are both made of brass construction and can be done in the same finishes. I believe either one of these locks would be a great choice to avoid a wear pattern.
The Emtek E4827 uses a different keypad than the E4817.
The Emtek E4827 does have a key that you, as the owner can keep to operate the electronic keypad. You would change the battery from the inside of the house by unscrewing the backplate. There is also a low battery indicator.
The item is designed to light up to be seen in the dark. It should be sufficient.
The Emtek E4827 does not have a matching dummy set.
The Emtek E4827 is designed for residential use only and it is not given an ANSI rating.
