Can this lamp be mounted outdoors?
The Eurofase is not UL listed for damp locations, so this light is not suggested for outdoor use.
Can you dim this lamp? What is the comparable brightness (in halogen or incandescent) of the bulb?
This uses LED lights which can dim, but no in the same range as incandescent bulbs. They are generally very bright like halogen when on, a white light.
Does this unit require a transformer? Can it be wired to a standard 110V junction box that is wall switched?
The Eurofase Lighting 19240 includes a driver, so it can be wired to a standard 110v junction box.
How bright is this? What can I compare it to?
The Eurofase Lighting 19240 uses a 1W LED bulb, which is roughly as bright at a 12W incandescent. I hope this helps!
Is one led driver (19252-018) required per fixture? And does it fit within the canopy?
The LED Driver can hold up to 8 watts, meaning that for the Eurofase Lighting 19240 you can have up to 8 fixtures. You just cannot go over the 8 watts.
