Very sleek and modern We installed 3 of these pendant lights over our kitchen island and they really added style and elegance to the decor, in addtion to providing more light. We are happy with the product, and also with the accurate and timely shipment. August 6, 2011

Terrible Light I purchased 4 and replaced all 4 transformers within 3 months of purchase. July 20, 2011

Eurofase pn-1mya pendant light Purchased two pn-1mya pendant lambs to go over our kitchen sink. Units look very nice and initially installed easily and worked. However, not for long and with very little use, one unit stopped working and we thought it was the bulb. After 3 bulb replacements we removed the unit and had the transformer checked to find that it was bad! We checked the web and found that Eurofase products have a history of failed transformers! but there is no warrantee! contacted Eurofase who are based in Ontario Canada and they said that they did not deal with the end customers but after several calls to their customer service they sent a replacement transformer but would not do anything else to make good the poor quality of the electrical components of their units! It ended up costing more to try and repair than to scrap both and purchase two other quality products! February 27, 2011

Wow, what a great pendant I purchased 3 of these for our new built house to go over our Kitchen granite bar and they look AMAZING. They builder and others have commented on how nice and asked where we got them. The light that shines down onto the counter looks great along w/ the little pin holes that are on the side to let little lights shine through. You won't be unhappy with these and Improvement Direct has the best quality and very fast shipping. Thank you, Improvement Direct, I will tell all my friends to get their items on here for the quality you deliver September 3, 2010

Everyone is complaining about the transformers? Why should I buy this like when the transformer is no good?

What does the mounting canopy look like?

The Eurofase Lighting PN-1MYA features a single light box round canopy.

When you say the cable can't be shortened, do you mean the fixture has to hang 64" down from the ceiling - that doesn't really make sense to me, since we have 8' ceilings - they'd be less than 3 feet off the ground!

The Eurofase Lighting PN-1MYA can hang from any length you see fit, but the cable itself can not be modified to a shorter or longer length.

Does the transformer come with the fixture? Is there one per fixture mounted in the canopy? Can a single remote transformer be used?

The Eurofase Lighting PN-1MYA comes with the canopy and transformer. It is one fixture per canopy. This must be used with the included transformer.

how long is the nickle shade portion of this fixture?
