DIfficult to Mount; Missing Parts I ordered two of these mirrors for our bathroom. One arrived missing mounting brackets which is not Faucet Direct's fault rather it was due to the sloppy way the manufacturer ships the item. Faucet Direct made it good and I got the parts within a week. Mounting this mirror with 2 people is extremely difficult; you need 3 or 4 to do it easily. The instructions are terrible; are written by someone who does not speak English as a first language; and are printed on the back of one of the boxes so it is impossible to keep the directions close by without cutting them off the rest of the shipping container. After finally mounting the mirror, I am satisfied with it but nothing more. You are getting an average mirror at an average price. May 1, 2011

BEAUTIFUL Piece I bought 2 of these lovely mirrors to go over my double sink bathroom vanity. It turned simply breathtaking all together. I did get a suggestion about lighting that turned out to be extremely helpful.. Because I wanted 3 wall sconces (one on each side) for additional lighting, it was recommended that I pick a sconce , that compliments the mirror hardware and that sticks out from the wall enough to illuminate in front of the mirror. Since the mirror itself sticks out about 3 inches form the wall, getting a flush wall mounted sconce would result in the light hitting the backside of the mirror. And because this mirror is relatively simple in design, you are able to go with lighting/sconces that are traditional or modern. April 25, 2011

Does the mirror fit flush against the wall with the brackets? If not, what is the distance?

The Gatco GC4349S is not flush, it protrudes 3.1"

Does the oiled bronze on the Gatco match the oiled bronze of moen?

Gatco and Moen's Oil rubbed bronze are far different from each other. I would not recommend the two items side by side.

Is the width the width of the mirror or mounting brackets?

The Gatco GC4349S width measurment is of the mirror.

is it possible to hang this mirror horizontally and have the pivots on the short side rather than shown in the photo?
