This is a great tool to have when you don’t have enough swing room to use a full size tubing cutter. You can cut copper tubing with less than one inch of clearance. Or you can easily handle close stub-out work.
And it’s quicker than conventional cutters. Just snap it on the tube, close the gate and turn. The cutter wheel automatically tightens as you turn the AutoCut – no knobs to twist. The cutter wheel is spring loaded to provide a constant cutting pressure, so you’ll never accidentally crimp the tubing.
For extra leverage in awkward spaces, you can get a Ratchet Turning Handle. It slides over the AutoCut from either side for maximum ease of operation.
The AutoCut has long lasting hardened steel cutting wheels that are easy to replace when the time comes. Keep all three in your toolbox. Watch out though, they’ll spoil you.
Like many retailers, Build.com can choose to set its own prices independently. And even though manufacturers require Build.com and other retailers to display a product's "minimum advertised price" (or MAP), the retailer can choose to sell for less than that. But the price must be conveyed in other ways, and each individual manufacturer's MAP policy determines where the price can be seen.
To see the price for this product at Build.com, you'll need to place it in your shopping cart, and maybe even proceed to final checkout. If you're not ready to buy the product, simply remove it from the cart.
Build.com apologizes for any inconvenience. We'd just like to offer you the chance to save extra money while we adhere to manufacturers' MAP policies. Build.com is also working to educate manufacturers on how their policies impact customers and their buying behavior.
