I thought this was trim for the "pressure balance" valve, which controls both temperature and volume (vs. the thermostatic trim & valve and the volume control trim & valve). But this is not what one of the answers says below - can you confirm? Thanks.
A. The Grohe 19 707 is a pressure balanced trim. It is used with valve Grohe 35 015 000, which will control the temperature and not the volume of water.
What is the difference between the 19 707 and the 19 612? I am looking for a seabury cross handle trim to go on a universal grohe shower valve.
A. The Grohe 19 707 is what you would want to use with the Grohsafe pressure balance rough-in valve 35 015. The 19 612 uses a thermostatic valve, temperature is set at a certain degree, and requires a special valve, For use with Grohtherm 34 122. The 19 612 also needs a separate volume control to turn the water on and off.
Is this pressure and temperature control?
A. The Grohe 19 707 does not control the volume of water. It allows you to control temperature. When on its at full force
What are the measurements of this value trim?
A. The Grohe 19 707 trim plate is 7 1/2" wide x 5 1/16" tall.
The Seabury collection by Grohe will give you a timeless look which will last a lifetime. A traditional style with either lever or cross handle, Grohe faucets are sure to give you a lifetime a trouble free performance with its SilkMove ceramic cartridge.
Like many retailers, Build.com can choose to set its own prices independently. And even though manufacturers require Build.com and other retailers to display a product's "minimum advertised price" (or MAP), the retailer can choose to sell for less than that. But the price must be conveyed in other ways, and each individual manufacturer's MAP policy determines where the price can be seen.
To see the price for this product at Build.com, you'll need to place it in your shopping cart, and maybe even proceed to final checkout. If you're not ready to buy the product, simply remove it from the cart.
Build.com apologizes for any inconvenience. We'd just like to offer you the chance to save extra money while we adhere to manufacturers' MAP policies. Build.com is also working to educate manufacturers on how their policies impact customers and their buying behavior.
