This fixture features a pull-down dual spray faucet (with spray and full-pressure modes), and the hose measures 48 inches in length to help you cover every inch of your kitchen sink. Install issues Although this faucet looks really good, there are some issues that as a DIY might be problematic. First, the instructions are too simplified; not all pieces are called out on the schematic drawing. Second, the actual installation was difficult because there is only a single mounting post, which is offset to one side of the base. As I tightened the washer, under the counter, the faucet would lean to the side where the mounting post is located. This put the faucet out of plumb. I finally had to insert a thin rubber gasket on the mounting post side to keep it plumb. Not ideal. Third, the water stream is very powerful and at full output will splash outside the sink (even at 9"+ deep). However, the look is great. The fit and finish is very good. And the spray head works great except that to return to a stream, you must turn off the water first. August 24, 2011

great quality in the product I love the clean, contemporary design. Unfortunately, I have not used the product because I am having it finished in oil rubbed bronze to match existing pieces. I would have preferred to have purchased it with the orb finish, as it has been five weeks and it is still at the refinishers. August 22, 2011

Beautiful faucet Love the faucet. It is very simple and modern looking, and I really like the way the spray retracts. I have had others with a weight retractor, instead of a spring, and they seem to always get hooked up. This one works great. Also, I like the small radius of the spray ... it doesn't spray all over the place, only where you point it. I think it is worth every penny! August 22, 2011

High Quality Faucet I purchased this faucet because it has very clean lines and a concealed pull-down spout. The movement of the handle is very smooth and the flow of water is very nice. You can press a button on the spout to turn on the aerator, but the default is a gentle stream of water. This faucet is a modernist's dream come true! August 16, 2011

Excellent choice Had a Grohe in my previous home & when it came to updating current kitchen, I knew I would purchase another. Never a problem,in installation or performance. This faucet is very contemporary & works beautifully. Easy to install; looks gorgeous. Also, I looked at plenty of other retail & online stores; FaucetDirect had the best price. Delivery was fast and on the exact day quoted. I plan on re-modeling a bath next; will get fixtures etc thru FD. June 13, 2011

Solid Faucet This was exactly what I was looking for in a more modern condo kitchen. Very sleek and solidly built. Spray house works very well for my limited needs. You do need to turn the water off and back on to turn off the spray option, if that matters to anyone. Doesn't for me. Overall good product. May 4, 2011

A. Yes this has a pull out spray. Pull down and pull out are basically the same thing. When the spout curves down its usually called a pull down spray and when the spout is straight out its called a pull out.

My backsplash is very close to the faucet. Can I position the handle so that it is in the front (at 6 o'clock) rather than the usual side position (3 o'clock)?

A. You can rotate the handle to be on the front or either side of the faucet without any difficulties.

A. The Grohe 32 665 pull down is made of plastic. Most pull downs will be made of plastic since metal retains heat and can be hot to the touchwhen running hot water. The hoses are metal with a rubber tube in the center.
