solid product looked at many double swivel bars. decided on this one because of price and look. very nice quality. be careful when installing brace for bar. the holes need to be horizontally level so the bar does not install crooked! May 7, 2011

Can these bars be made to lie mostly flat against the wall or must they stick straight out into the room? Ideally, can you say what is the smallest angle away from the wall they can lie?

The Hansgrohe 40512 can be turned so that it does not stick out so far. It looks like it will go to 90 degrees, so will not stick out too far.

what is the exact length of this item. I have a limited area and need to know if the 15" stated is tip to tip or just the bar.
