Step by Step Instructions

Step 1:

Dig a hole about 12” deep.

Step 2:

Mix up your concrete following the instructions on the bag. Depending on the size of your hole, you may not need the entire bag.

Step 3:

Fill your hole with the wet concrete leaving about 4” from the top of the hole.

Step 4:

Cut a small hole in the bottom of your plastic cup, and insert your eye bolt and thread on one nut, then the washer, and then the other nut.

Step 5:

Place the cup with the bolt in the center of your wet concrete and fill in the remaining space with wet concrete to the top of the hole.

Step 6:

Let the concrete cure. You may need to place a heavy object, like a board or shovel, over the top of the cup to keep it from floating up.
