very nice small fan
We needed a small fan for our new kitchen that would allow us to install without lights. After many trips to the big box stores, we found this online. GREAT fan and just what we needed.

Just perfect fan!
It is 100 degrees in Alabama these days. I have ceiling fans whirring in every room except my kitchen. I bought this 36" Hunter fan for that ceiling, so I could still open my cabinets. I invest ONLY in Hunter fans: do it once and do it right. Ahhhh! its cool in the kitchen now ^0^. This fan has been operating 24 hours a day since the day my contractor put it up! Powerful, quiet, dependable.

good, quick delivery.
We live in a resort area with few shopping possibiliites. Our fan was delivered quickly, in excellent condition. Easy to follow assembly directions, good quality product. Looks great in our sunroom!

Good small fan

The distance from the ceiling to the bottom of the light on the Hunter 20422 fan is going to depend on how you decide to mount the fan. When the fan is flush mounted it is 16.01 inches, at standard it is 18.51.
Does this fan also come in a 42 inch?
No, this style is not available in a 42"
