Got this fan for a better price than most large dealers, you know who I mean.

Can CFL bulbs be dimmed on this fan or any other fan?
The Hunter 21434 can be dimmed as long as the dimmable fluorescent bulbs are used.
Is the hugger style available?
The Hunter 21434 ceiling fan can be mounted in a low-profile application. It comes with everything it needs to be mounted in this way.
Is the light fixture alabaster?
The Hunter 21434 light kit has an amber linen shade.
Does the 21434 work with a hand held remote? If so, which one?
The Hunter 21434 is compatible with any hunter universal remote 27209,27208,27185,27224.
Can this fan be hung with a downrod so that it is suspended from the ceiling?

The Hunter 21434 does have a reverse button.
Are the blades in the photograph on the website showing the walnut or the cherry side?
Thank you for your question! The blades shown in the photogragh are the Walnut finish.
Does the blade pitch change the air movement and by how much between the 12 and 13.
The higher the pitch, the more pressure the fan blade applies to the air in front of it as it turns and the more air is forced downward.
The link to downrods that you give does not work for me. I cannot find the downrod for this fan.
