If the fan could be wired to where the remote would work with a three way switch, I would have given it 5 stars.

buzzing noise whenever light is off
There is a constant buzzing noise that comes from the fan whenever to light is not on. Installed 3 of these over the weekend and now have a buzzing noise in 3 bedrooms.

Installation Problem
The electrician said it was the most difficult fan he had ever installed. By the way, one of the included bulbs was a dud.
We are quite pleased with the fan, as it is efficient and quiet.

The Hunter 22434 includes a remoted that controls the lights along with the different speeds.
Is the remote for this fan and also the 22432 hand held?
The Hunter 22434 has a handheld remote control.

The canopy on the Hunter 22434 ceiling fan is 6.75" in diameter.
What is the fitter size for glass bulb shades?
The Hunter 22434 has a standard size fitter of 2.25".
Can this fan be installed outside?
Unfortunately, the Hunter 22434 is for indoor use only.
Does the remote need to be used or can it be wired to a dimmer?
The Hunter 22434 remote does not need to be used. You may purchase a wall switch additionally to control the fan speed and dim the lights.
Is it reversible?
The Hunter 22434 is reversible from the fan housing but not the remote.
