Beautiful Addition
The light/fan fixture is an awesome addition to our living room. The reflection of the lights on the ceiling from the cut glass globes is gorgeous. The motor is quiet and the best feature of this item (that I personally like) is the REMOTE. We would recommend this product highly.

Can this fan be installed with a 4 foot extension rod?
Yes, the Hunter 22436 can be installed with a 48" down rod. Please see the Hunter Downrods-48.

The Hunter 22436 comes complete with a handheld remote.
Can the fan be installed on a raised sloped ceiling, is special/additional hardware required, that is less than a 45 degree angle?
The Hunter 22436 does have the 3 position mounting system which allows you to install on a sloped ceiling.
can this fan be a hugger mount also?
Yes, the Hunter 22436 Sontera Ceiling Fan can be mounted Flush, Semi-Flush, or Traditionally. All hardware for each type of installation is included.
When you designate remote control, does the remote dim the light or just turn the light on?
The Hunter 22436 is compatible with a 27183 control that will dim the light.
Can this fan be used without the light kit?
The Hunter 22436 can not be used without the light kit.
