Looks great in my kitchen I had a hard time finding a black ceiling fan to go in my kitchen, to match my black appliances. Not only was just what I was looking for, the bonus was the fact that it included a mini chandelier at the bottom, and with four gold shades that goes with my kitchen decor exactly! I love it. I looks great and the fan sure helps to cool down the kitchen as it gets hot here in Houston. Also, it arrived quickly! LOVE IT. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. May 8, 2010

do you have this fan in a smaller blade size?

Check out the Hunter 20458 44" The Alcove II. This fan looks similar to the Hunter 22720 but has 44" fan blades.

Can I order a 12" downrod?

The Hunter 22720 is compatible with the Hunter Downrods-12.

Can this be installed without the downrod? What are the three installed positions available for this? I am basically wanting this fixture to be a little shorter in height when installed, is 22.5" the shortest it will go?

The 3 positions are flush mounted, standard, and angled. The shortest overall height is 19.5" with the flush mount.
