Great outdoor fan
We are very impressed with this ceiling fan! It operates wonderfully & is very pretty as well. Easy to install also. The fan arrived within 5 days from when it was ordered & in excellent condition. Very pleased with the fan and your service.

Do you need a remote to operate the fan?
The Hunter 23697 can operate without a remote.
When hung with low profile - how far are the blades from the ceiling and how for is the bottom of the light fixture from the ceiling.
The Hunter 23697 height, from the ceiling to the blades, on the low profile setting is 7" tall.
Comparing this with the Hunter 21435 52" the Sonora Energy Star Ceiling Fan, which you reviewed as "bedroom quiet." Which is the quietest?
The Hunter 23697 and the Hunter 21435 both use the same motor, so the noise level with be the same for the two units. They both have the WhisperWind motors.
Can I use this ceiling fan for indoor?
