Can a light be applied to any of your 42" fans? If so, how do I find the light kits?

A. The Hunter 23935 can have a light kit adapted to it. If you search for "Hunter Light kits" on our site and then use the "Sort by.." function and sort by price low to hight all the available light kits will come up.

From the installation guide, it appears that this can be flush mounted; is this true?

A. Yes, "3 position mounting" refers to Flush, Semi Flush, and Standard. Any one of the 3 is an option.

Can I put bigger blades on this model? 48" or 52", can you recommend any?

A. The Hunter 23935 is only meant to be used with the 42 inch blades. The entire fan is balanced specifically for 42 inch blades and using other size blades would put your fan out of warranty. The Bridgeport fan does come in a 52" version however, Hunter 28464.

How close to the electrical box can the fan blades be placed? Ask this because I have a porch ceiling that is less than eight feet high.

A. The Hunter 23935 can only be semi flush mounted with a height of 12.81".

A. This is damp-rated for use in covered porches, patios, and sunrooms, it should be ok over your hot tub. Damp rated can take the humidity from the hot tub.
