A. The Hunter 23980 does have downrods that will work with it. Type "Hunter Down Rod" in the search box on our website and it will bring up a few different sizes. Then choose the Provencial Gold finish.

A. There are quite a few different options for the Hunter 23980 ceiling fan as it is compatible with all Hunter light kits. The same goes for the downrod, it just depends on what size downrod you need.

Can these fans be used in a pergala or somewhere there is no ceiling or roof of any type above it?

A. The Hunter 23980, this has to have a roof. This is only damp rated; you would need to go with a wet rated fan to not have a roof.
