The Hunter 28463 can be used on 12 foot ceilings. You may want to get extra down rods.

The Hunter 28463 is able to be hung on a sloped ceiling with a sloped ceiling adapter.

Thank you for your question and in regards to the Hunter 28463 it can not go in reverse. Actually, non of their outdoor fans can go in reverse.
