Awesom Fan We were looking for a fan for our bedroom in black or espresso for our new black bedroom suit. After a lot of shopping we can across this one. I prefer to buy things I can see personally and took a chance buying this online. With the excellent, professional and courteous assistance of Nick at Lightingdirect, I decided to order this fan. I am so glad I did. It's beautiful and it looks perfect in our bedroom. It's also absolutely silent. I couldn't have made a better choice. I definitely would recommend this fan. June 19, 2011

Nice Fan My electrcian installed the fan, so I cannot comment on that aspect. Aesthetically, it is quite elegant and just right for a medium-sized bedroom/office. It also seems quiet. The light is adequate and appropriate for the room, however I will continue to use a desk lamp, and a reading lamp by my bed/chair in any case when I am working or reading. My electrician stated that "Hunter Fans are the best for the money." The fan has yet to be much used, so I cannot speak to its durability, but the brand has a reliable name. Overall, after looking far and wide to find something to fit the room, I am very pleased with this fan. October 30, 2010

The Hunter 28872 cannot be flush mounted. The height includes the downrod.
