Contemporary Bathroom Fan from the Ventura Collection 5 5 1 1
Vast improvement over builder grade This light/fan combo is light years better than the ten year old builder grade combo it replaced. The fan is virtually silent, and won't turn dingy yellow like its predecessor (no plastic visible). Biggest challenge for my husband was that the opening for this unit was quite a bit smaller than the existing one. Remedied the situation by using a 16" ceiling medallion on the ceiling to hide the visible opening, and used spray foam to fill the void from above. This is used in a small tub/toilet area and quickly clears the steam. April 22, 2011

Is it capable of being wired so one switch is for fan and one for just light? (a split switch fitting into one plate rectangle? )

You can purchase a hunter wall control that will control the light and the fan independently.

I have only 6" depth in the ceiling space. Will this fan fit?
