Is there a low-profile light kit that can be used with the Sea Wind? Perhaps the 2839F?
The Hunter Sea Wind could use the Hunter 27218 low-profile light kit. I hope this helps!
Is this fan reversible?
The Hunter Sea Wind is reversible.
This fan would replace an existing fan that already uses a wall switch. Is this ok? Also does this fan have variable speeds and might only be ok with the remote?
The Hunter Sea Wind can be installed to replace an existing fan and, as long as the wiring is the same, would hook up fine. The Hunter Sea Wind compatible with the Hunter 27185 remote.
Are the fan blades made of vinyl or plastic?
The Hunter Sea Wind is made with plastic blades.
How can I get more than 2813 cfm, it seems not enought?
One example of an outdoor fan with higher cfm would be 23979. The cfm on high on that one is 6419
Does this fan require a switch? If so, do you carry any outdoor fans that can be turned on and off with a pull chain?
The Hunter Sea Wind is a pull chain unit. You may use a wall switch as well.
Does the Sea Wind come in an indoor version?
The Hunter Sea Wind can be used indoors or outdoors.
I purchased and installed the 48" sea wind fan and I like it very much in the porch area where I have it installed, looks good. My question is it doesn't produce the airflow I expected and I was wondering if I could get longer fan blades and install them to produce the airflow I need?
The Hunter Sea Wind can't be installed with long blades. All that will do is slow the fan down.
Can I use the sea wind with a downrod on a 10' porch?
Yes you can use this on your porch.
What light kit is compatible?
The Hunter Sea Wind can be used with any Hunter low profile Light Kit, such as the 28306.
