What size allen wrench do I need for a Badger l food disposer?

The InSinkErator Badger 1 takes a 1/4 inch allen wrench size.

is the bader1 and badger5 the same size ? Can i replce badger1 with badger5?

The diameter for installation will be the same on both. You can replace one with the other, however the outer dimensions are different.

Where is the reset button and how does it work?

On all Insinkerator models the reset button is located on the bottom-center of the dispoal. It does a hard reboot of the motor to free up freezes.

How do I remove disposal

The InSinkErator Badger 1 top flange should unwind (unscrew) from the unit itself.

Do I have to have a dishwasher to use the garbage disposal?
