OK The disposal is very noisey - I am wondering if it is a used product August 19, 2011

Great Disposal Is so much better than the old one! Grinds everything in a hurry. Not very loud and not much vibration at all - the glass doesn't fall off the sink anymore when I turn it on! Very happy with it. April 28, 2011

Good for the price Good product for the price. The up-graded models offer a little more options and are a little quiter. This model is basic and gets the job done. This unit is alot better than off-brands and hardware store versions. Install is quick and easy! August 26, 2010

Can this model install to a 23" undermount Empire sink?

The In-Sink-Erator products install to standard 3 1/2" drain openings and come with the top flange in stainless steel for a finished installation. If you need a custom colored flange to match your sink or faucet let us know and we can make further recommendations.

Does the product come with detailed installation instructions?

The Badger 5XP will have a installation instructions.

I am purchasing this disposal, will the kohler K-11352 disposal flange fit this?

Yes, the InSinkErator Badger 5XP is compatible with the K-11352.

What is the "standard" finish?

The InSinkErator Badger 5XP Standard finish is a chrome plated flange, and a black body for the disposal.

Are any more parts required? Does it come with the stopper and flange?

The InSinkErator Badger 5XP comes with the stopper and flange for installation.

Are the impellers for this unit galvanized steel or stainless steel?

Can the "on-off" switch be linked to a surface mounted air switch or only a wall switch?

InSinkErator badger 5xp can be used with a SinkTop Air Switch vs a wall switch like the STS00 and STSS0

Does this unit come with a power cord attached?

No. The power cord is sold separately. It's the InSinkErator CRD-00 Three Foot UL Listed Power Cord.
