can you use filter system on drinking water?

The InSinkErator F-GN2215 is filtration system can be used for drinkin water yes but this tap itself is a hot water unit.

Can it be used with an existing SST tank that does not have the FLTR installed?

The InSinkErator F-GN2215 can be used with the SST tank without filter installed.

What finish for the Insinkerator hot water dispenser matches the Moen S6208 classic stainless finish?

The InSinkErator F-GN2215 in brushed chrome would be the closest finish match to Moen's stainless.

Is the tank included?

The tank is not included. This model is designed for use with our InSinkErator SST-FLTR for filtered, near-boiling 200°F water.
