Looks great; easily installed The "wave" is not locally available though it is a good match with my faucet (& probably other's). It is an upgrade (capacity, hot adjustment & style) to one that lasted 8 yrs. If it holds up as well I will be satisfied!! October 30, 2009
wish i could use it! it was great to have both hot and cold water at one spigot. But... out of sight, the fitting that goes through the hole in the sink is about 1-1/2 inches wide, a plastic, threaded pipe that would not fit through our sink's hole. But I think this would be a fantastic spigot for instant hot water while not giving up your cold filtered water, all using just one standard hole. September 30, 2009
functional with great looks I recently purchased the InSinkErator HC-Wave in polished chrome. Installing it was a breeze and the functionality of the design is great. I purchased this as a replacement to another instant hot which didn't last 2 years of service. This model has clean lines, sturdy construction and does everything an instant hot should.Performs great! My Faucet Direct sales rep was knowledgeable, and great to deal with. Is it compatible with other water filters or RO systems?

The InSinkErator HC-Wave-SS is recommended to be used with Insinkerator filtration systems.

Does this faucet come with the hot and cold water tank or is it separate.

The InSinkErator HC-Wave-SS has a hot water tank and the cold is hooked up straight to your line.

Can you push the handle down and leave it down or do you have to continue to hold it?

The InSinkErator HC-Wave-SS hot and cold handles have to be held down to continue water flow.

The F-HC1100 does have the cold lever able to stay down but requires the hot water tank SST-FLTR.

Does the chrome or satin nickel match well with a brushed stainless steel kitchen faucet (ie steel optik Hansgrohe?) Thanks

Chrome is generally universal however the satin nickel with InSinkErator will not match with the same Hansgrohe finish and will not match the Stainless Steel finish either.

What is the temperature of the drinking water on the "cool" side? Is it as cold as water kept in the refrigerator?

The InSinkErator HC-Wave-SS cold handle is going to be room temperature water unless you order a seperate cold water tank.
