Dual Position Disposal Stopper

Versatile dual-position stopper lets water and small food particles "in" the disposer, but keeps silverware and other objects "out".
Closes tightly for use as a conventional sink stopper.
This polished stainless steel stopper will complement most stainless steel sinks.

Works fine, could be improved The stopper looks nice and works fine. It could be better if it had a spring to help hold it firmly vertical in the raised open position, It stays open but flops around just a bit. Closed position is just fine and seals well. April 16, 2011

wouldn't be without it I bought this when I got my evolution excel and I never used the one that came with it. I like the ability to have it open or closed. It is not expensive and I wouldn't be without it. Saves so much time and trouble as oposed to the one which is always closed. Try it you'll be glad you did November 3, 2009

Pain in the drain We are very disappointed by the way this product functions. Installed as directed in our new InSinkErator disposal it flops from side to side in its open position, (a spring would prevent this and also help maintain its vertical position). It also protrudes from the drain to far and gets in the way while working in the sink. Attempting simple tasks while the drain is open is annoying as pans wobble on the top of the stopper as you trash its finish. We tried our best to adapt but finely gave up. We no longer use this product and view its purchase as money down the drain. August 21, 2009

will this fit the Emerson Insinkerator model # I-83 ? If not, which one will fit ?
