veritical use?

The Ives 620B can be installed in a vertical position.

i have the same exact style and no storm door so when the wind blows it leaks cold air. is this unit weather tight?

Baldwin makes a unit that keeps most of the air out. Their model is the 0017. I hope this helps. Thank you.
