Great Faucet!!Our local kitchen shop recommended this faucet and, after looking online, we found it at FaucetDirect.com. The price was excellent and the faucet was delivered in just a few days. It took longer to get the plumber to our house to replace our old kitchen faucet than it did to find, purchase and receive our new faucet! The new faucet looks beautiful and works very well. We are extremely pleased with our purchase.

Too many problemsI was so happy when this faucet arrived. It is elegant and beautiful. Then the problems began. The cord would not retract easily. My plumber re-installed three times, changed the weight location, added another weight - no luck. In addition the water came out of the bottom and top of the faucet. He came back (note the costs keep rising) and put in a double washer, so that the water would not back up and spill out of the top. Bad design. Back to the cord. Clearly it was getting caught, in fact, the hose started fraying, and bits kept falling into the sink as I pulled the faucet down. There was also a grinding sound when moving the hose. The only way to retract the hose was to go under the sink and pull it back, which defeats the purpose.
We called Jado directly, and explained the problem, that the flange at the bottom of the faucet was rough and the hose kept catching on it. The rep said that was normal and he couldn't figure out what the problem was. We decided to go with another brand.
Faucet Direct was great - I will return the faucet for a full refund, and look for another one. But this has been a bad experience. I have paid much, much more to the plumber than I paid for the faucet.

Good Product, just misunderstoodThere have been some negative reviews about this faucet that seem mostly concerned with the pull out spray not docking tightly. First, let me say I installed the faucet with no trouble; I am a 67 yr old woman with limited plumbing experience. I found the screws clasping the weight together around the line to the spray nozzle difficult to tighten, and the weight slid down. Consequently the pull out did not snug up against the faucet arc. Just needed stronger hands I thought & hubby would tighten it up. He was unsuccessful! Closer examination revealed that the thread on the screws supplied did not match the threads on the weight. Found some that worked and the pull our retracts perfectly. Granted Jado should be on top of that. But it's hard to believe a licensed plumber could not figure out how the weight was not working. Otherwise the product is stylish, performs well, the off/on handle works smoothly with only a light touch. I would suggest that if you don't have a large sink ( mine is 3 bowls) that you look at the bar sink model of this line. It's about 3/4 size and would fit most sinks and be more in scale. That however is a taste issue not relevant as to how the faucet functions. The only thing I would suggest to Jado is to make the pull out have a stream and spray function. Now it is stream only.
