1 Light Wall Sconce With Pull Chain and White Cased Glass Included From the Espille Collection 4 5 10 10
Very nice! This is a surprisingly nice quality sconce that fit our peculiar needs for a wired sconce with a switch (pull chain), and is at the same time a beautiful addition to the room! It is larger than I imagined it to be, but I must admit I didn't really go figure out from the dimensions given first either. The shade sits down into a groove in the sides and removes easily, excellent packing, excellent finish, would recommend. Takes a few weeks to be delivered, so order it with some time to spare. Inspect before installing We bought and installed two of these fairly expensive fixtures. Unfortunately, on one of them the small curved piece that the pull chain passes through is noticeably crooked. We did not inspect these pieces before the electrician put them up, and now we would have to pay to have one removed for replacement and reinstallation. So, my advice is to look them over carefully before they are installed. September 13, 2009
great find I searched for a wall sconce with a chain pull and the very few I found were cheap, plastic, ugly and only fit for a basement or closet. This light is very attractive and great quality. It looks fabulous! August 18, 2009
Nice-Durable-Contemporary Lights I own an old home & needed Wall Sconce lights with an off/on switch. These are hard to find. These cost a little more than i budgeted for, but are heavy duty pieces. They work great so far & go great w/ the contemporary Theme of our living room. One of the glass Globes arrived broken, but I made one call to LightingDirect & they have shipped me out a replacement globe. Wall fixture Kalco 4650 I bought this because it is hard to find a decent looking light fixture with an off/on switch. I like the looks of the fixture very much. However, the pull chain that turns it off and on has frozen up . It left the light on so I turn it off and on by screwing the light bulb in or out. Not a satisfactory solution. My son is going to try to replace the part with the switch but this shouldn't happen with what is a rather expensive light. The cheap, ugly one would have at least turned off and on properly November 22, 2008

Can you tell me the dimensions of the white glass shade, and then the narrower metal bit underneath. I have a light switch next to where it needs to be mounted and not sure if will fit.

The Kalco 4650 is overall height is 13 inches and the shade itself is 7 inches tall. The metal portion below is 5 inches long.

The Kalco 4650 extends 3.5" out from the wall.

What is involved with "Energy star conversion"? Is the fixture energy star compliant without the conversion?

If the Kalco 4650 is converted to Energy Star there will be a lower wattage going into the light. The light IS NOT Energy Star compliant without this feature.

where is the switch on the plate? I don't really need a switch since it will have a wall switch, so I'd like to know how visible itis.

The switch on the Kalco 4650 is on the center of the plate, it is quite small, and is in the same color as the finish chosen.

Does this fixture work with a dimmer switch?

The Kalco 4650 can be used with a dimmer.
