Not worth the price
Look great..while they work. Can't buy a transformer to fix so company charges a fee for a replacement and a shipping charge that makes the auction sellers look reasonable. Can't believe the bill for two defective replacements was far more than new off the shelf lights would have cost at a big box store. If you think the exense at the beginning is gettng you a better product, think again. Save your money.

Kichler Undercabinet lighting
I really like this undercabinet lighting, it not only is consealed well but makes such a difference when in use and gives a very nice light not only to the counter area but the room in general.
This is the second time I have used Kichler and I am very please with it and would use it again.

Great product
This is an excellent product. Quality made and all the features and flexibility you would want in an under cabinet light.
Keep in mind that the light projects down and forward due to the design of the lens.
The cabinet rail under your upper cabinet needs to hang down an inch and a half to avoid seeing the light straight on.

Kichler undercounter xenon light fixture
Purchase rec'd in good order and is a great product EXCEPT the fixture it replaced should have lasted more than 3 years before failing. (not bulbs....entire fixture)
Have a 2nd duuplicate fixture in same kitchen. Hoping for better service from that one.

are transformers available and how long should they last?
The Kichler 10581 are direct wire cabinet lights and the transformer is integrated into the unit. The warranty on the fixture is a 1 year if the transformer has gone out. Unfortunately, if the transformer went out, the whole fixture needs to be replaced.
Can four of these lights be wired all together to one switch?
Four Kichler 10581 Under Cabinet Lights could be linked to a single light switch as long as the capacity of the localized transformer exceeds 216 watts and that the power demand for these lights and other fixtures in that part of the home do not exceed the capacity of the breaker.
What's the difference between this and the 10563 and the 10566?
The Kichler 10566 will also include 21 Inches of Interconnect Cable and a Wiring Module while the 10563 will not.
What is the BX connector that is included? Is that something that allows multiple units to be connected in series?
No, this is only for a single connection. There is the 10588 which is for multiple connections.
