the dimensions of this product are unclear.... is it actually 2 ft high? Or should I rely on the "canopy dimensions", which say it's 12 x 4.5 ?

The Kichler 10670 is actually 2' high and the canopy, the part that mounts to the wall is 12" x 4.5".

Can this be mounted horizontally?
