Can I plug this unit directly into the wall? If so, does the power cord come with the unit?

These are hardwired directly to your line voltage no transformer necessary it is built into the light. Pleae let me know if you have any further questions.

Can these dim if direct wired to a dimmable switch?

The Kichler 12212 can, the dimmer has to be suitable for an electronic transformer. Thank you

For a direct wire installation, how far from the ends are the knockouts?

The Kichler 12212 is ¾ of an inch from the ends to knockouts.

what is daisy chain style installation ?

The Kichler 12212 refers to "daisy chain installaion" which means you can connect multiple of the same fixture together with a specific cord so they all operate at the same time.

Can the 12212 be hard wired without any additional epuipment, such as a transformer?

The Kichler 12212 is a direct wire fixture, so you won't need any additional equipment to install this fixture.

What type of replacement bulb do you sell for this fixture?

The Kichler 12212 takes a 20 watt xenon bulb that can be found under product sku 12090-12.

Which interconnect cable do you use to connect the Kichler Series III under cabinet lighting? How many fixtures may be linked together? Also, do you need a transformer for each run or each hardwire connection? (We have one run that has one wall switch, but two separate hardwire connections).

The cables come in a few lengths; 9", 14", and 21". Item numbers are Kichler 10571 (9"), 10572 (14"), 10573 (21"). These are hardwired directly to your line voltage no transformer necessary it is built into the light.

For direct wiring are there knockout in the back of the fixture or only on the ends?

The Kichler 12212 only has knockouts on the sides.
