Beautiful light
As warm a light as I could have asked for. Thin profile. Long life. Easy installation. Great guidance on purchase & installation at Kichler website & at LightingDirect. This lighting system in pricey now (March 2011), but over time I'd expect pricing to drop.

If I have a modular kichler light bar which does not use a transformer, can I connect this light to the modular bar, or is the transformer neccessary?
The Kichler 1231 does require a transformer.
Is there more than one puck to a pack? Or do you get one for $54?

Which pucks can use dimmers
The Kichler 1231 can be used with a dimmer from Kichler.
How many lights can be put on one transformer?
The Kichler 3802 uses 3 watts per light, for each grouping of three lights you need a driver module which uses 1 watt. So depending on how many lights and driver module's you need will determine the size of transformer.
I want to install your under cabinet lighting using 6 1231 led puck lights. What other parts do I need to purchase?
To install the Kichler 1231 (6 of them). You will need 2 x 12354 (black or white) and 2 x 12353 (black or white
I was told today that this model is compatible with a dimmer switch, the thread below seems to say that it isn't, which is true?
I apologize for the confusion, but the Kichler 1231 can be used with a dimmer. The dimmer will need to be made by Kichler.
For 6 1231 why would you need 2x12353? That is a 50W supply and the 1231 only pulls 3.5W. Also It appears that you should be able to plug at least 2x 12354 one into either side of the 12353.
If you order 6 you will need one of the 12353, not two.
