Perfect Match just finishing a kitchen renovation and needed a complementary light to a copper sink and copper tile in backsplash. This item was a perfect match and hilited the copper as an in-cabinet puck lite. Invested in a large mandrel bit for perfect hole to place this item within roof board of a glass cabinet. Cleaner look than a surface mount. June 22, 2011

I bought some of these lights, and they look great. I see that the lights are dimmable, but the dimmer I got says it should not feed a transformer -- what kind of dimmer do I need to work with these?

The Kichler 12501 should work with any low voltage dimmer.

Do the lights come with a recessed mount (i.e., a rubber or plastic casing)?

The Kichler 12501 does not come with a recessed mount.

I am looking to use 3 of these inside glass kitchen cabinets. Can I hook them all to 1 transformer? If so, which one?

You can use the one that is recommended which is the Kichler 12532 (60w)or you can get what we would suggest for 3 lights on 1 transformer which is Kichler 10214 (75w).

Is there enough room in the fixture housing to hide the connections required for multiple lights?

The Kichler 12501 will need to be used with a transformer. You can use a plug in tranformer unit which is model 12532, but this transformer is only for one light. You can also use transformer 12531 which is hard wired into the wall and can be used for three of these units. In that case the wires would be hidden in the wall.

Are these lights dimmable

Thank you for your question. The Kichler 12501 is a dimmable light.

How long is the wiring on the puck light? I'm concerned about reaching the transformer from the mounting location.

The Kichler 12501 has 72" of wiring included.

What is the voltage of this fixture?

The Kichler 12501 is a low voltage fixture, 12V.

Are these hardwired?

The Kichler 12501 is hardwired.

Is it available with frosted glass?

Unfortunately, the Kichler 12501 is only offered with the clear glass.
