Is this light OK for wet conditions? Which accessory do I need to install it in the ground?
The Kichler 15231 landscape light is OK for wet conditions. To install the light in the ground you will need the Kichler 15276 power post bollard stake.

Great light
I replaced some outdoor lights with these units. They sit under snow many months of the year, but these can take it. Easy to replace the bulbs, and they are tough but also nice looking. Buying more in the near future.

Great light output
Light output is perfect. Lights up our flag and does not light up the neighborhood, little to no light pollution.

Great Light, beware of online color accuracy
100% satfified with my purchase excpt for one thing. The color of the light is described at Spruce but online it looks like it is grey. Belive me, it has a touch of green to it. If I had known this I probably would have gone with black.

Is a "bell box" the same as a plastic junction box?
The bell box is the same as a plastic junction box. The bell box is another name for the junction box from another manufacture
can a par 20 LED lamp be used in place of the standard incandescent PAR 20
The Kichler 15231 is compatible with par 20 lamps, if you have an LED par 20 it should work.
Can this item be secured to a bell box?
The Kichler 15231 has a 3/4" threaded hook up, and would be compatible with a bell box provided it could accept 3/4".
Is this fixture dimmable?
No, the Kichler 15231 is not dimmable.
How long is the wire?
It comes with 8" of usable wire.
What accessories are needed to mount this light on the side of a large tree trunk for up lighting?
The accessory for installation would be the Kichler 15276, however the Kichler model 15255 is intended for direct installation to tree/landscape.
What accessories are needed to mount this to a tree?
The Kichler 15231 would need the 15276 to mount the fixture to a tree. Another option is the the Kichler model 15255, which is intended for direct installation to a tree / landscape.
