Great product, worth the cost
We are a landscaping company and have used this path light a lot in our designs and installs. They never have problems, always look great and are a nice, simple look that is elegant with a good diameter of light output.

Attractive light, but..
The path light is elegant and provides good illumination -- considerably better than cheaper lights.
However, the line electrical connector is difficult to install -- somewhat tricky to make the connection.
One of three lights came with missing parts, which were promptly replaced by lighting direct.

Is this fixture one of your most popular items chosen for path lighting? If so, why?
The Kichler 15310 is one of our mre popular path lights and I think it's due to the style and durability.
What size transformer do I need for 7 Kichler 15310 path lights, a flood light and 2 step lights? Approximately 165 watts
The Kichler 15310 is recommended to work with low voltage transformers like the 15PL series. For 165 watts I would suggest the 15PL200, which is rated for 200 watts of power.
I want to consider a light like 16310 but that stands about 12" tall. Can the post be shortened?

What should be the spread of light for a night-lighted pathway?
Kichler recommends placing one 15310 light every four feet for nighttime lighting.
I am concerned about the finish of this light. My sprinklers will hit it. Is its finish water-proof?
This light is made to stand up against the elements so they will hold up against the sprinklers.
What is the light spread of this fixture? We need to know to plan proper spacing to keep a path lit.

The Kichler 15310 does have replacement ground stakes under 15575BK.
Is this light "sprinkler-proof"? It will be hit by my lawn sprinklers...........
This light is made to stand up against the elements so they will hold up against the sprinklers.
How is the bulb replaced?
The Kichler 15310 bulb can be replaced by removing the shade. Once the shade is removed you will have access to the bulb. Instructions on how to remove the shade will be included with the fixture. Also, the bulb is included with this fixture.
Can this light be purched with an led bulb?
The Kichler 15310 is only compatible with 12V Incandescent T-5 wedge base socket.
What material is the ground stake?
The Kichler 15310 ground stake is plastic.
