solid purchase
We purchased three of these in bronze for our kitchen island. They look wonderful. We also have the matching semi-flush light for another area in the kitchen. They were easy enought to install and as expected from Kichler, great quality.

Kichler pendants 3475
I ordered three of these for my island and they look great. They have a modern/craftsman easy style that looks expensive. The old bronze finish looks great with oil rubbed bronze pulls. I bought the matching chandelier and am equally pleased.

simple yet unique
I have this pendant in brushed nickel over my sink. While the house is furnished historically, the fixture fits right in, I think because of its simple lines. It is beautiful and a little different in a subtle way. Very elegant. I really enjoy it.

Just waht we expected
Lighting looks great and price was very reasonable. We looked at other options, but this gave us the look and stayedwith in our budget.
The only negative, with our vaulted ceiling, it was some what time consuming to get them to align and level. That was more the issue with the house than with the product itself.
Overall, very happy.

Contemporary Mini Pendant
Well-designed mini pendants are relatively difficult to find. We ordered this one in antique bronze and are very satisfied. We have one over the sink and two in the kitchen booth. They look great and give a very pleasing amber light. If you are looking for a contemporary pendant, this one just might be the one.

Beautiful addition...
These lights are the one of the best details added to my kitchen. Trying to restore some of the "Craftsman" touches to my bungalow cottage, that was stripped of all identiy in the '60's, these lights are a charming addition that bridge the gap between the traditional craftsman period and today's contemporary style. They are beautiful in their simplicity and simply beautiful!

What color is the glass shade? It appears to be a stark white, but one person said they had a pleasing amber light.
The Kichler 3475 is available in two finishes. If you choose the brushed nickel finish the glass shade is white and if you choose the olde bronze finish the glass shade is an amber color.
What downrods does this come with?
The Kichler 3475 mini pendant comes with two 6" downrods and two 12" downrods.
what type of light bulb is required for this light?

Can this be hung with just the wire and no rods? I need 7' of wire for vaulted ceiling - hanging three pendants at different lengths to make even.
The Kichler 3475 includes 2x6" and 2x12" stems. You must use at least 1x6" stem.

I have track lighting in my kitchen where the pendants hang on flexible cords which fit into an element on the track, not stems. Can these fixtures work with my existing track? Can the stem/rods work with the external track system I have?
Unless you have Kichler track, it is unlikely that the Kichler 3475 will work for your application. Track tends to be very proprietary.
I wanted to install some of these in my office. I currently have 6 inch can lights. Is there anything I can use to cover the 6-inch hole? A ceiling plate?

My ceiling is only 8 ft high. Would this size pendant work over the island?
Yes, the Kichler 3475 would work in your space. It has an adjustable height and the shortest length is 13.5". It comes with extra rods to adjust the height.
Can I use flourescent bulb instead of incandescent bulb?
The Kichler 3475 can only use CFL bulbs or Incandescent bulbs.
Can the rods be shortened? I want to hang three from an arched ceiling and all hang same height from counter
The Kichler 3475 downrods can not be shortened as they are threaded.
Can this light be used over a toilet?
Yes this light can be used over a toilet, depending on how high your ceiling is over that toilet. The length of the pendent is 45.5", so as long as your able to leave yourself some space, it should be fine.
