Love the fixture Love the fixture and the price, it arrived very quickly after on-line order was placed and in perfect condition, but no directions included. Didn't think this would be a problem til they were referenced in the wiring. Did figure it out though. November 3, 2010

Can you please tell me the total dimensions of this fixture?

The Kichler 5973 has a width of 24.5" and a height of 8.5". The back plate dimensions are 6.75" by 4.75".

Can this fixture be used as down lighting?

The Kichler 5973 is able to be mounted with the lights pointing downwards.
