Quality and beauty
These were installed on either side of a bathroom medicine cabinet. From the front, they look like a long oval of glass, slightly wider at the top. You cannot see through the frosted glass and they give a lovely warm light when lit (depending on the bulb, of course). We used CFLs and I thought we would be able to see the bulbs, but we cannot. They are elegant lights and we are very pleased.

Great Value
Only problem with this was that the shade arrived smashed. A replacement was ordered and arrived about a week later. I had to custom wire a pull-chain switch but that was simple. Item looks great installed.

These lights were purchased for my son's bedroom and look even better in person. I put 60 watt bulbs in them which gives plenty of light, but could go up to 100 watt, which, with a dimmer switch would be excellent too.
