not as 'super' quiet as we expected, but it seems to be doing the job better than most. You will know it is on, but it does actually provide exhaust, which surprisingly is not often the case. I am happy with the price and service from ventingdirect. And although done so without too much hassle, as a result of shipping damage it did require a second unit to be sent.

Sleek, slim, Quiet on Low
If you're looking for a slim, small & efficient hood, this is it. Can hardly tell it's on when on low setting. I wanted a small stainless hood--not something that atrracted as the centerpiece of the kitchen.
4* stars because the buttons aren't exactly intuitive to use. Also, the highest speed exhausts great, but it's louder than my old clunker hood.

Good product
My family cook alot. I am looking a rangehood that can eliminate all the smell of cooking. I tried to look at Home Depot and Lowes, the strongest that they carried only have around 350PCM. I found this product and this vendor only. Bought it. So far, it the best purchase that my whole family agree about. Strong and quiet. You won't dissatisfy with this product.

Fantastic Range Hood
This hood exceeded expectations! Looks great and is super quiet. When it is on low setting, you cannot even hear it. This range on high speed is more quiet than our old hood on low speed!

Best home improvement project
I was looking for a range hood to replace my old one. I had a range hood did not work well. The problems I had for the old range hood is it was too noisy and did not remove air all all although I have duct system in place. Whenever I cooked anything the smell of food and oil mist will fill my house for at least half day. So I decided I need a more powerful one. I checked best buy and Sears first to see the models and options I might have. After about two to three weeks search, I realized I can't find a right product from the retail store even I am willing to pay higher price. The best I can find is one with 300 CFM and cost about $600 and that's when I start to search online.
I checked VentingDirect and find Kobe RA3830SQ and purchased through online.
Since I installed the range hood, I no longer smell anything when I am cooking. The product is very quiet and most of time I only use low speed and that's enough power to remove all the smell. I always think I should buy the range hood sooner so I can enjoy cooking more often. I am glad I did have this range hood and recommend you should have one if you cook a lot.

I really love how quite it is and it eliminates the cooking odor and grease. It is worth the purchase. If you're looking for quality this is it.

Best thing I got for my Kitchen!!
Kobe hood is the best thing we have purchased for our kitchen. I am a chef and I love to entertain, so I enjoy most of my time in my kitchen. I loved this hood as it does not leave any kind of food smell in my kitchen. I use lot of ethenic spices, do lot of frying, sauteing, and the Kobe takes out all the smell from my house. As it is ventened out side. The best part is it is not very noisy and very very easy to clean.
