The Luxury performance showering package gives you everything you need for a complete custom showering experience with the benefit of easy ordering. The innovative WaterTile™ round bodysprays provide tremendous installation flexibility, as you can use them as conventional bodysprays or install them in the ceiling for a virtual rain shower experience. The products were configured to work together, which takes the guesswork out of designing a custom shower.

Package includes a multi-function adjustable handshower and slide bar kit, multi-function showerhead, three WaterTile™ round bodysprays, and Purist™ valve trim.
Requires HiFlow Rite-Temp pressure-balancing valve and 3-way transfer valve to complete the package (K-693-K-NA).

Are these water tiles 27 nozzle or 54 nozzle?

A. The shower tiles that come with Kohler K-10853-4 showering package are 54 nozzle.

Will this unit still work as well if we only have 1/2 inch pipes instead of the 3/4 inch pipe that is recommended or is there a unit that willwork with 1/2 piping. We are looking to purchase the K-10853-4 Purist. Please respond as soon as possible. Thanks Donna Lequin

A. Yes, the Kohler K-10853-4 can still work with 1/2" pipe but you will need a 3/4" to 1/2" reducer. The other part to consider would be your water pressure. If you know you have average or better you shouldn't have any real issues. Otherwise there is a booster pump that you can install also to help with pressure.

I want to send water to the shower head and the bodysprays at the same time. I am thinking that the 3-way transfer valve will not do this. Is there another valve that can be used to send flow to the bodysprays and the shower head at the same time

A. Thank you for your question. The transfer valve with the K-10853-4 can run the shower head and the sprays at the same time. There are three outlets on the valve and it can share adjacent outlets. So the first position can run the shower head, the second can run the sprays, and the middle setting between the two will run both.

Are there any plastic parts on this shower system?

A. No, this is entirely a metal (brass) construction.

What kind of controller do i need to operate my hand spray seperate from my showerhead.

A. The Kohler K-10853-4 is equipped with a multi function diverter handle that transfers water between outlets just above the main, pressure balanced, handle. This is the controller you would need.

Can we replace the nozzles with the square body sprays similar to those in Kohler K-10858-4?

A. The Kohler K-10853-4 is a set package, so unfortunately we cannot make any changes to it.

A. Yes you can mix water tiles. The important part isn't the size of your pipes, it is your water pressure.

Can I add a rain shower head to this shower system?

A. The Kohler K-10853-4 is able to accommodate any shower head you would like. If you like, I can custom build a system for you.
