Double Handle Shower System with Multi-Function Hand Shower from the Devonshire Collection 3 5 1 2
So disappointed Terrible system: 1. Shower head - Spray is only around outside (unless you change it for other kinds of spray) You can literally put your hand up to the shower head and it will not get wet. 2. Hand held shower head: Way too heavy and the worst is, it is smooth, so when wet, you can't hold it. It slides out your hand. Needs some ridges. I have had the system 1 year and I hate getting in the shower. I am looking to replace the shower head to one that has a lot of jets all over. Don't buy it, you'll regreat it. Too expensive for the return. October 23, 2011

A. If by "Handheld Shower Kit" you are referring to the K-10855-4 Devonshire Shower System, then the answer is Yes. The 60" Master shower hose (K-9514) is one of the included components.

Would a booster pump be necessary in an urban installation?

A. Thank you for your question. A booster pump can be uses in any situation where you would like more water pressure going to a particular water feature. You may want to have a plumber check your water pressure so that you know what you are working with.

Can you choose the side that you want to install the water tiles and do they move 360 degrees?

A. Kohler K-10855-4 WaterTile can be mounted on the wall or ceiling, but they do not rotate 360 degrees.

Where is the diverter lever located?

A. The diverter is the smaller of the 2 levers.

Does the Kohler K-10855-4 WaterTile pivot in any direction?

A. The WaterTile Bodysprays are able to pivot. The term fixed comes from the fact that the WaterTiles have a fixed spray pattern.

A. Yes you can install a booster pump after shower installation.

I already have the valves for this system but no longer can afford the component pkg. Can I use the K-T396-4 shower trim with this valve instead?

A. Thank you for your question. The Kohler K-T396-4 can be used with the larger K-306-K Valve, though you would need an additional handle for the transfer valve.

Can you have the water going out of the jets and the handheld at the same time?

A. The Kohler K-10855-4 has the ability to use two functions at the same time, however at less pressure. There are large and small lines on the diverter. When you have it on the large ones, water comes to one item only. When you have it on the smaller one, it is shared to two items.

A. You will need to order the K-693-K valve package to complete the installation.

Is it possible to operate each shower option (showerhead, handheld, and watertiles) separately, all three at the same time, or some combination of the three?

A. Thank you for your question. If you want to control all the different options at different times, you will neeed to get specific rough-in valves to do so.

Can I use this in conjuntion with the Devonshire whirlpool tub if I get other faucets for the tub?

A. The Kohler K-10855-4 can be used with a whirlpool tub, but with all those functions you will need an enclosed space.

Does this system have the temperature valve (to set a certain temperature for the water as needed)?

A. The Kohler K-10855-4 Double Handle Shower System with Multi-Function Hand Shower from the Devonshire Collection is not a thermostatic system. You will have to set the temperature each time you use the shower.
