Kohler Rite-Temp Rough In Valve with Diverter (Replaces K-305-K)
This Rite-Temp pressure-balancing valve works behind the scenes to prevent scalding and freezing for a safe, comfortable water supply. The valve features a high-temperature limit stop and an optimal comfort zone, so you can set a maximum high and then find and maintain your desired water temperature. The diaphragm design virtually eliminates freeze-ups from contamination and water debris. This valve integrates a diverter mechanism for seamless actuation of a handshower/showerhead application OR a showerhead/tub spout application. Finally, universal NPT and direct sweat connections need no additional parts for installation.

Kohler K-11748-K Reviews

Works well but low flowAs part of my bathroom remodeling we had the old style "pull up" diverter replaced with the K-305. We never saw anything to indicate this was a low flow device. After installing this and the new tile it's too late to do anything about it. Takes 15 to 20 minutes to fill the tub and my wife can't get enough shower pressure to really get all the shampoo out of her hair.
Also, factory temperature setting was tepid. Very complicated to adjust for hotter water.

Great quick shipping!I ordered the incorrect one at first. (My mistake).
They gave me the return address and I shipped back and they shipped this one out right away.
They applied the coupon I used on the 1st one to this item which was great and unexpected.
I did have to pay return shipping but wth I ordered the wrong one so why should they pay for my mistake?

what is the difference between the k-11748-k and k-11748-ks. the k seems to be out everywhere and ks can be found. can they be swapped for each other.
