Single Handle Kitchen Faucet with Side Spray from the Fairfax Series 4.6 5 9 11

A Fine Kitchen Faucet We wanted to replace a faucet made by a well-known company that needed parts replaced on a regular basis, and the replacements were cheap goods. Having had good experience with several Kohler products, we opted for this model. We are very pleased so far (several months in). Everything about this faucet seems heavy duty and well made. Installation, which I did myself, was complicated by the fact that the Kohler has attached feed lines that did not reach our under-sink shut-offs. After a plumber modified our supply lines, the process went smoothly. The handsome, old-fashioned design fits perfectly in our 1920s home, the faucet and spray work perfectly, and I would recommend the model for anyone needing a new faucet in an older style kitchen. need more detail views This faucet is very good looking and functional.The flow is satisfyingly robust. My only complaint is that in the photos of it,it was not apparent that it came with an adorable little hot-cold sign on the top of the handle.I therefore bought one,since it would add such a nice little touch. I was surprised to find it came with it,and you can replace it if you need to. With an overhead shot f the unit,this confusion could have been avoided. I now have a spare part I hope I never need. Love the new faucet set. However, the sprayer is not of the same quality and tends to drip. Otherwise, service - timely shipping - and follow thru was excellent. I will purchase from FD again. November 13, 2009

Kohler Fairfax This faucet is exactly what i come to expect from Kohler... and at a better price from Faucet Direct than what a design center could get,, in fact i ordered it thru a design center and after 4 weeks it still wasn t here ! Faucet Direct had it to me in 3 days,, and i ordered late on a Friday.The customer service was wonderful ,, I would highly recommend them. Barbara July 25, 2009

Very nice The only small concern is that the sprayer makes a clunking sound when I pull it out. I am going to ask my installer if he can do anything to get rid of that noise. I would be interested in knowing if anyone else has had that problem and how it was resolved. Aside from that I truly love the look and functionality of the the faucet set. March 2, 2009

Great Faucet The faucet is tall and pots fit well underneath. The pressure from the faucet is excellent. It looks great in the kitchen and works well too. I would like it better if the sprayer was more solid, it feels like it is plastic. September 3, 2008

Does the spout move/swing from side to side?

The Kohler K-12185 does swing spout with the reach of 9-3/8".

Can this be used with the Indio sink? How many holes in the sink for this faucet?

The Kohler K-12185 would work with the Indio sink. You would need the 3-hole option of the Indio sink. I sent you a shopping cart containing the correct model.

Is Kohler K-1894-C the coordinating soap dispenser? Does this come with a white porclean top to REALLY match the K-1285??

The Kohler K-1894-C is the appropriate soap dispenser for the Kohler Fairfax Collection, but it is not available with a white top.

does this come in polish brass soap dispenser and garbage flange

We do have soap dispensers by Kohler that come in the Polished Brass. The Kohler K-1893-C and the Kohler K-1894-C. The air gap that comes in Poished Brass is the Kohler K-9111.

What color are is disc's on top? White? Bisquit?

The Kohler K-12185 has white discs on the top.

Can a Water Filter be attached to the Kohler K-12185?
