How long is it?

The Kohler K-14426 has a spout length of 7 3/4".

Can I use this as a wall mount filler for a free standing tub?

Depending on how far away your tub is, you may or may not be able to. This particular spout has a 7-3/4" reach and you would need a control valve and trim.

What control valve & trim is needed for a tub only installation?

The Kohler K-14426 uses valve and trim model numbers K-T14423-4 and K-304-K which are also part of the Purist collection.
