The Kohler K-14791 has a swiveled end and can turn and rotate but not technically move up and down or side to side

What are the dimensions for the trim?

The Kohler K-14791 escutcheon plate is 2 1/4" top to bottom and 2 3/16" left to right.

will the K-10257 ellipse hand shower work with the k-14791?

The Kohler K-14791 is compatible with the K-14791 with the use of either the 72" hose, K-8593 or the 60" hose, K-9514.

What is the hose made of?

The Kohler K-14791 has a metal hose.

Is the k-14791 compatible with the new flipside handshower k-17492?

Yes it is compatible. It is just the holder. You will also need the 1/2 connection hose to make it work.

is this also a water supply elbow?

The Kohler K-14791 is the mount and elbow.
