Classic Looking Faucet
A contractor did the installation and it's only been in use for a few days so I can't give an opinion on how it was to install or if it's going to last. I can say that it is solid construction and looks beautiful in my new kitchen.

Good Faucet!
Purchase this faucet, very easy to install and works great! Was more than what we wanted to spend, but not many other choices out on the market. The hose sprayer is very nice, can't go wrong with a Kholer!

Stunning faucet!
I spent 8 weeks doing on-line shopping looking for the perfect faucet for our new kitchen. Finally, I found this one and it is stunning. It is quality made and has a classic look that complements the stainless steel undermount sink and stainless appliances. I would recommend buying from Faucet Direct. They had the best prices and our faucet came well packaged and quickly!

Very nice faucet
We purchased this faucet (along with a Kohler sink) for our kitchen remodel and are very happy with it. It looks great and was easy to install. It arrived within 2 days of ordering it. The price easily beat what was offered by Home Depot and Lowes.

Very satisfied customer
Not only is this a beautiful product, but FaucetDirect.com made the purchase a breeze. is the sprayer metal or plastic?
The Kohler K-16109-4A is a metal coated plastic.
The faucet is still in the box as we await our countertops. Meanwhile, may be a stupid question, but does the faucet swivel? It seems like it will be fixed in one position?
The Kohler K-16109-4A does not swivel since it has a side spray already.
The Kohler K-16109-4A specifies a max 1" deck thickness. Is there an extension available for a thicker deck?
The Kohler K-16109-4A has a think deck installation kit. It is located under parts. In the search bar, just put in "77619". Kohler has confirmed this is compatible with your faucet
What is the height of the handles (tall)
The Kohler K-16109-4A handles are 3 3/4" tall.
Do you have to have the spray, or can you substitute the soap dispenser for that hole?
The Kohler K-16109-4A is only sold with the sidespray. Most quality Kitchen faucets with a sidespray have either a positive pressure valve or a removable plug for the sidesprays supply connection. This allows for installation on a 3 hole sink, or to substitute a Soap Dispenser in it's place.
does this set have a fixture for filtered water as well
The Kohler K-16109-4A does not have a filtered version.
If we do not the sidespray, can we just ask our plumber to leave it off? Also, we don't want to substitute the sidespray with a soap dispenser. Can we just use the faucet spout and handles?
For the Kohler K-16109-4A, you do not have to use the side spray. You would have to cap it off.
The hot water handle is leaking. How do I approach fixing this?

Can I use this faucet with a Kohler K-5840-5U sink? This sink has five holes, but only three holes are centered, the remaining two are on each side of the sink. Would that be ok with the sidesprayer on the side?
The Kohler K-16109-4A will absolutely work with that sink. The K-5840-5U is an undermount sink with five sink holes at a 4" spread, each 2 3/8" in diameter. The important part is the hole drilled in the counter top itself.
Does this particular faucet have the positive pressure valve or a removable plug to block the side spray (for installation in a sink with only three holes)?
The Kohler K-16109-4A doesn't come with the positive pressure valve or a block for the side spray. This faucet is installed with the side spray.
If I wanted to match this with stainless steel appliances-should I get the polished chrome or nickel. YOu do not have an option for stainless steel so I need a close match. Pleae advise.
The Kohler K-16109-4A brushed nickel will match closer to stainless steel rather then chrome. This faucet was never made in stainless steel so that option is not offered. Have a great day!

how do you get the handle apart to replace washers?
To replace the washer for the Kohler K-16109-4A you need loosen the handle under the faucet and then the handles will loosen where you can take the handle off the valve to replace the washer.

The Kohler K-16109-4A spout height is measured from the deck (counter top) to the bottom of the spout (where the water comes out).
