Soap/Lotion Dispenser with Contemporary Design 4.4 5 9 10

Well designed dispenser The hole in this dispenser is underneath it so the soap squirts into your hand or onto your sponge instead of straight ahead. This is especially important if it gets a little clogged with soap. Instead of the soap getting forced out toward you and splattering all over you, it opens up downward. This dispenser cost a little bit more than others, but you pay for the good design and it's worth the extra money. Holds a lot of soap too. November 5, 2011

Overpriced and inconvenient THe dispenser looks good from the topside. Problem - you must unscrew the dispenser form the bottom to refill it - very tough to do in my installation. Plus - it cost a fortune for a unit that is largely plastic. Fogedaboudit. June 27, 2011

Good Quality Product I bought and installed two of these soap dispensers. Pros: They installed with ease, Solid Brass, big container so you don't have to refill often, and in my experience... Kohler has a good warranty program. Cons: somewhat expensive, but you get what you pay for. May 26, 2011

Kohler K-1995 The five stars are for both Faucetsdirect.com and the Kohler soap dispenser. Beautiful, very heavy and solid. Five minutes to install (replaced the countertop airgap). Sleek; holds a lot of liquid soap This soap dispenser goes very well with my Kohler Karbon faucet. The only thing I don't like is that the action is fairly stiff (on mine, anyway -- your mileage may vary) which makes dispensing a bit more work than I expected. Otherwise, terrific. What is the minimum size hole required to install the K1995C?

The Kohler K-1995 has 1-1/16" width and a max deck thickness of 2-1/2".

I have the Kohler Simplice faucet which is stainless steel (does not say vibrant stainless). Which is the correct finish to match the simplice faucet?

The Kohler K-1995 is listed as Vibrant Stainless. Some Kohler items are listed this way and some aren't, but it is the same finish. "Vibrant" is just Kohler's proprietary name for their finish.

What is the finish that is closest to Hansgrohe's steel optik? I'd like it to blend in with my faucets.

Steel Optik is a tough finish to match outside of the manufacturer, I'm afraid. But the Vibrant Stainless should be the closest from the options available.

What is the length of the spout?
