The 8", 4" and single hole describe the type of faucet drillings which come with the item. The Classic design has a rounded sink top and the Stately has sharp angles.
The Kohler K-2344-8 classic has a more rounded feature to the edges. The Stately is more square. The holes are determined by their spread, the distance between the outside holes. The 8 has an 8" spread, the 4 has a 4" spread and the 1 is a single hole for single hole faucets.

Any Kohler faucet will include a pop up drain that will work with this pedestal. But, the K-7129 or the K-7127-A would also be appropriate add ons.
