Beautiful SinkFor the money, this sink can't be beat!
It's a bit larger than anticipated, requiring me to extend the ABS drain pipe outward 2" for the P-trap to fit, so check your measurements twice.
Beautiful, flawless, and solid construction!

Great ChoiceThe Kohler Archer sink is beautiful and unique. It has been installed in our recent renovation for a little over a month. I have received many compliments on it, and I am pleased with it. It arrived well-packaged, and in perfect condition. The sink is angular, somewhat rectangular, but with a gently curved front. I paired this sink with a Mansfield Barrett toilet, and they look very good together. The Kohler Archer is less expensive than the Barrett sink, but larger and deeper.
Be aware that the angles create corners that are difficult to clean, which is why I did not give it five stars. Not only are there the upper four corners, but also there's another groove in the bottom of the sink that makes it lovely, but difficult to clean. I would not have purchased this sink if I had realized how the many corners and grooves make it much harder to clean than a more traditional sink. I did not see the details of the angles and corners in the picture online. On the other hand, the wide rim of the topmount sink helps to keep drips and splashes inside the sink, so in that way it helps keep the countertop clean. It's nice that the drips from turning off the faucet with wet hands stay in the sink, rather than puddling on the countertop. I used a single-handle faucet, and it's a great combination.
At this time when undermount and integrated solid surface sinks are so common, I like the unique look of this topmount sink with the extra-wide rim.

very nice sinksI recently purchased 2 of these sinks for my bathroom remodel...great service from build.com and love the quick shipping! the sinks are beautiful and I really like the edge that will accommodate the liquid soap bottle or other wet items instead of having to set them on the counter like other drop in sinks. Width and depth is spacious to give plenty of room for washing hands and items without touching the sides or bottom. would highly recommend this sink and having the free shipping from build.com makes the price so much less than buying elsewhere. will definitely use build.com again!

Lessor QualityI purchased this sink on the Kohler name brand reputation and am extremely disappointed. The sink is poorly finish coated in spots on front area and a small spot on top. My kitchen sink purchased a few years ago made from stainless steel material is also quite thin and lesser quality than the old Kohler unit I removed for remodel purpose. I suggest all who purchase this product examine it closely before installation and then contacting the merchant to see what type of recourse is possible. I have installed mine, spots are small and maybe not seen by others, but still there. The design is quite striking on granite but just lacking in QC.

Beats Brick and MortarI'm a contractor in south east Michigan, I checked my supply house for these sinks and they could get them but it would take 2 weeks. I ordered two online and they were less money and I received the sinks in 5 days. All the way around it was a good transaction. I will be using the site again. Thanks FaucetDirect.com

I love this sink! When I found this square over-counter china sink, I knew it would be perfect for our new vanity. It's simple, graceful lines and generous size and depth is exactly what I wanted. I hope this sink is around for awhile b/c if we ever remodel another bathroom, I will want to order it again.

Love It!Originally bought this in white at the Home Depot, but decided the black would be a better choice. Build.com was cheaper, and I'm so glad I went with the black. LOVE IT! Delivery was a day sooner than expected, great place to buy from. Don't hesitate to buy from here.
Can this be used as a counter-top sink on a 22" by 18" vanity?
A. The Kohler K-2356-8 is slightly larger than the dimensions for your counter-top. I would not recommend using this sink.
My rough opening from my existing countertop is 20-1/4 X 18-1/2. Will this sink fit without gaps?
A. The Kohler K-2356-8 is compatible with your existing countertop.
My rough opening on my existing countertop is 20" X 18". Will this sink fit without gaps?
A. The Kohler K-2356-8 may be a little big for your cut out. The Sink basin for the K-2356-8 is 16-7/8" x 12-9/16".
To be completely clear, this sink does not inclue the faucet and handles, correct? And it will sit on top of Kohler K-2449 Archer Petite Vanity? Thanks.
A. Correct, the K-2356-8 does not include the faucet and handles. However it is not designed to match with the K-2449 Petite Vanity, the proper sink for the K-2449, is the Kohler K-2358-1, K-2358-4, K-2358-8, with the -1,-4,-8 referring to number of faucet holes and spacing.
does this sink need a special p-trap and can a pop-up drain be used with this sink? If so, what size of drain do you recommend?
A. The Kohler K-2356-8 is recommended with use of the 8998 drain but is not neccessary. You can use 1 3/4" drain.
Can it be purchased in a 19" to 21"?
A. Unfortunately, the Kohler K-2356-8 is only available as a 22.5 by 19.5 sink and Kohler has not produced a smaller version.
Does this sink come with only 1 hole for a single handled faucet?
A. The Kohler K-2356-8 comes with three holes to be used with a widespread faucet. If you would like the same model in a one hole application, the model number would be K-2356-1.
What is the difference between 8 " inch centers and 4 " inch centers?
A. 8" centers are farther apart than 4". What that means is the distance between the center of the far faucet hole is either 8" or 4" away from the center of the furthest faucet hole across.
Which Kohler color most closely matches American Standard's "Bone"?
A. The Kohler K-2356-8 in Almond would probably be the closest to American Standard's Bone finish. However, you won't get a perfect match since they are from two different manufacturers.
can this sink be purchased with NO holes?
A. Unfortunately, the Kohler K-2356-8 is only available with 8", 4" and single hole faucets.
I have a K-2356-8-0 Sink. I am having trouble finding the drain, drain stop and J pipe I need for this. Can you help???
A. The Kohler K-2356-8 is a standard lav sink and can use the drain the typically comes with your facuet. You could also use the Kraus pu-11 if you wanted a pop up drain.
